If you shop at Costco for toilet paper, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, and other household products, now might be a good time to stock up.

From now until Sept. 22, certain P&G products at Costco -- from Tide to Bounty to Crest and Olay -- can help you score a $25 or $50 Costco Shop Card. Spending $100 on these popular household items will get you a $25 Shop Card, while spending $200 or more will get you a $50 Shop Card.

Either way, you'll get essentially 25% in cash back . And no -- you don't need to buy all products at once. You just need to submit receipts of your purchases by Oct. 31, 2024.

While you can hit that $200 spending goal in any number of ways, here are eight super common P&G products that put you over the threshold.

    1. Charmin Ultra Soft Bath Tissue

    Online price: $33.99

If you like the "good stuff" -- the Charmin Ultra Soft bath tissue, that is -- now's a great time to stock up. While Kirkland's own bath tissue is significantly cheaper ($1.65 per 100 square feet vs. $4.07), earning the Shop Card will make you feel slightly less guilty for splurging on the TP.

    2. Tide Plus Advanced Power with Oxi

    Online price: $24.99

Get a load of this: Tide Plus Advanced Power with Oxi Liquid can help you hit that $100 or $200 P&G threshold. In fact, any Tide detergents at Costco will contribute. This also includes certain fabric softeners, like Downy.

    3. Bounty Advanced Paper Towels

    Online price: $29.99

A 12-count of Bounty Advanced paper towels costs about $30 and can help you snag that $25 or $50 Shop Card. On its own, this is a really good deal for Bounty paper towels (the same 12-count pack is $41 at Walmart). Kirkland Signature paper towels are cheaper ($22.99), but, in my experience, the Bounty paper towels are actually sturdy and more absorbent.

    4. Crest 3D Whitestrips

    Online price: $35.99

Crest 3D Whitestrips are one of the best retail whitening strips out there. But they're not cheap: Walmart sells 44 strips for $39.99, while Amazon sells them for $45.99.

Meanwhile, Costco is currently selling 60 strips (40 "Professional Effects" and 20 "1 Hour Express Treatment") for a reduced price of $35.99. Since the normal price is $47.99, you can save over $11 and contribute to earning your Costco Shop Card.

    5. Vicks Severe DayQuil and Nyquil

    Online price: $24.99

Just in time for cold and flu season, this pack of Vicks DayQuil and Nyquil can also contribute to your P&G spending threshold. The pack comes with two bottles of NyQuil (12 ounces each) and one DayQuil (also 12 ounces).

    6. Cascade Platinum Plus Dishwater Detergent

    Online price: $19.99

A bucket of 81 Cascade pods is on sale for $19.99 (regular price: $24.99). The Cascade Advanced Power Liquid (online price: $12.99) would also count toward the P&G minimum spending requirement.

    7. Crest Pro-Health Advanced Toothpaste

    Online price: $15.99

Crest Pro-Health is a little humble tube that fights cavities, gingivitis, and plaque; it whitens teeth and freshens breath; it protects enamel and fights back acid erosion. A 5-pack at Costco costs $15.99 online and can get you closer to that free Shop Card.

    8. Dawn Platinum Plus Powerwash Dish Spray

    Online price: $14.99

Finally, to get you over that $200 threshold, a pack of Dawn dish spray will do the trick. You'll get one starter kit (which includes the sprayer) plus two refills. This product isn't limited to dirty dishes, either. You can use it on countertops, grills, and stained clothing too.

These eight items would put you at $200.92. Again, you don't have to buy these all at once to get the Shop Card. You just need to buy the products on or before Sept. 22 and submit receipts by Oct. 31 to qualify. Check out Costco's website for more eligible products and bring a good Costco credit card to your warehouse to turn extra rewards on these purchases.
