SCC offering auto dealer, renewal courses this month

Surry Community College will be holding an Auto Dealer pre-licensing course and an auto dealer license renewal course that are required by the N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles.

The Auto Dealer Pre-License Initial course will be held Monday, Aug. 26, and Tuesday, Aug. 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at The Yadkin Center, at 1001 College Drive in Yadkinville.

This course is designed to meet the 12-hour training requirement for individuals seeking an initial Used Motor Vehicle Dealers license. Tuition is $146.

The Auto Dealer License Renewal course will be on Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at The Yadkin Center.

This N.C. Auto Dealer License Renewal class is offered for independent automotive dealers. Completion of this six-hour course meets the requirements for individuals renewing their Used Motor Vehicle Dealers License. Tuition is $126.
