Monday morning traffic in downtown Mount Airy came to an unexpected stop at West Pine Street and Main Street. Tharrington celebrates Week of the Young Child
Pre-kindergarten students at Tharrington Primary School recently participated in Week of the Young Child, a week-long celebration of preschool students and the early childhood education field. The week began with Music Monday where the students made and decorated maracas. On Tasty Tuesday the students made a yummy snack. On Work Together Wednesday the children worked to create banners for the upcoming Special Olympics. On Artsy Thursday the students created their own masterpieces.
