Owner Lori Blanchard announced the closure on the store’s <a href="https://www.facebook.com/PortCityOrganics/" rel="nofollow"> Facebook page on Wednesday. </a> “I extend my sincere appreciation to all my loyal customers, staff, fellow business owners and vendors who have been so supportive over the years,” Blanchard stated. The store, located at 328 First St., is offering in-store discounts on all merchandise starting Sept. 2. Remaining inventory, along with equipment, coolers, freezers, shelving, furniture and signage, will be liquidated by noon on Sept. 21. The store&nbsp;is up for sale, <a href="https://www.flexmls.com/share/ArCWR/328-1st-street,-manistee,-MI-49660" rel="nofollow"> listed at $60,000 on flexmls.com </a> . The building that housed Port City Organics has already been sold to a new owner.
