    That's a Warp: Panthers, Falcons stay perfect in Week 6

    Argenta-Oreana 36, Tri-County 6 . The Bombers (1-5) jumped into the win column with a decisive victory over the Titans (1-5) in Lincoln Prairie Conference play, with a 15-point third quarter helping them pull away down the stretch. Jimmy Dillon led the Titans with 126 rushing yards on 22 carries, while Garrett Pollock completed six passes for 76 yards and a touchdown to Joe Henricks.

    Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond 26, Nokomis 8. In a matchup of Lincoln Prairie unbeaten teams, visiting ALAH left with a playoff-clinching win and pushed its conference win streak to 20 games. The Knights (6-0) trailed 8-7 until midway through the second quarter when Maddix Stirrett scored on a 4-yard touchdown run to give ALAH a 15-8 lead. The Knights took an 18-8 lead into the fourth quarter and sealed the victory when Easton Frederick scampered for an 80-yard touchdown run.

    Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin 59, Watseka 12. BHRA had little trouble in staying undefeated and clinching its 15th consecutive trip to the playoffs with an impressive Vermilion Valley Conference victory at Payton-Moss Field. Anderson Thomas completed 13 of 16 passes for 204 yards and two touchdowns as the Blue Devils (6-0) jumped out to a 43-0 halftime lead against the Warriors. Chaz Dubois finished with four catches for 62 yards and a touchdown for BHRA, while Evan Parish and Isaac Cahill were both productive running the ball. Parish finished with 80 rushing yards on seven carries and three touchdowns, with Cahill contributing 83 rushing yards on seven carries and one touchdown.

    Centennial 55, Urbana 15. The visiting Chargers avoided a two-game losing streak and left McKinley Field with a convincing Big 12 Conference victory. Zi'yir Aker finished with 144 rushing yards on 10 carries and two touchdowns for Centennial (4-2) against the Tigers (0-6), while Kellen Davis-Foltz was effective throwing the ball. He completed 11 of 14 passes for 212 yards and four touchdowns. Escko Law caught three passes for 56 yards and two touchdowns, while Cam Willenborg (four receptions for 70 yards) and Wyatt Christensen (three catches for 75 yards) each hauled in a touchdown.

    Cumberland 45, Arcola 6 . The Purple Riders had their three-game winning streak snapped with a Lincoln Prairie home loss at Thomas-Bradford Field. Brody Phillips threw a 53-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter that trimmed Arcola's deficit to 21-6, accounting for the only score of the night by Arcola (3-3).

    Fisher 28, Fieldcrest 14 . A pair of touchdowns and 78 rushing yards from Jeremiah Todd helped the Bunnies (2-4) secure a Heart of Central Illinois Conference win on their home field, with Tyler Whitton adding 95 rushing yards on 22 carries of his own as Fisher won its second straight game.

    Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley 34, Tuscola 7 . Jacob Chase ran for a trio of touchdowns and finished with 190 rushing yards on 25 carries to spark the Falcons to a playoff berth with a road HOCIC win. Brayden Elliott added two rushing scores of his own and wound up with 43 rushing yards on just three carries while he completed 8 of 14 passes for 94 yards. Dylan Graves rushed for a 59-yard touchdown to lead the Warriors (3-3) as he finished with 83 rushing yards on 10 carries.

    LeRoy 41, Meridian 0. LeRoy kept up its impressive season with a HOCIC road shutout and clinched a playoff berth in the process. Andrew Fleming returned a fumble 42 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter that staked the Panthers (6-0) to a 20-0 lead. Bo Zeleznik threw two touchdown passes to Jack Bogema and Cole Wilson, while Bogema (79 rushing yards on three carries), Landon Welte (64 rushing yards on four carries) and Sam Wagner (57 rushing yards on four carries) led LeRoy's triple-option offense.

    Mahomet-Seymour 38, Mt. Zion 14 . Mahomet-Seymour continued its dominance in Apollo Conference play, building a 31-0 lead at halftime and cruising to its 21th consecutive victory in league play. Luke Dyer led the way for the Bulldogs (4-2) by completing 12 of 16 passes for 263 yards and two touchdowns. Ray Long and Gavin Hammerschmidt stood out, with Long making five catches for 122 yards and Hammerschmidt hauling in four receptions for 85 yards and a touchdown. Mason Orton added a 28-yard touchdown catch with his lone reception. Cade Ashby and Brock VanDeveer complemented the pass game for M-S, with Ashby bulldozing his way to 66 rushing yards on 24 carries and three touchdowns, with VanDeveer adding 49 rushing yards on six carries.

    Milford/Cissna Park 70, Unity Christian 28 . The Bearcats (5-1) claimed an authoritative win against the Lions in Illinois 8-Man Football Association play. Mario Martinez led the way with 137 rushing yards on seven carries and two touchdowns, with Caleb Clutteur not far behind with 134 rushing yards on eight carries and two touchdowns. Dierks Neukomm finished 7 of 10 for 179 passing yards and four touchdowns, with Jream Renteria catching two passes for 96 yards. Both of Renteria's receptions resulted in touchdowns. The Bearcats' defense also thrived, with Clutteur recovering a fumble and returning it 21 yards for a touchdown, while Coy Lucht and Lucas Summers each recovered two fumbles.

    Momence 28, Salt Fork 21. Salt Fork led briefly late in the second quarter, but couldn't hold on to it and lost its second straight VVC game. The Storm (4-2) took a 14-7 lead with 3 minutes, 53 seconds remaining before halftime on a 33-yard touchdown run by Jameson Remole, but Momence scored with 14.7 seconds left in the second quarter and went into halftime ahead 15-14. Momence (6-0) increased its lead to 28-14 midway through the fourth quarter before Salt Fork's final touchdown came with 2:23 left in the game on a 30-yard pass from Remole to Grant Wilson. Remole finished 12 of 20 with two touchdown passes, but also threw three interceptions. He added 64 rushing yards on seven carries. Wilson led Salt Fork with eight catches for 68 yards.

    Oakwood 54, Hoopeston Area/Armstrong-Potomac 16 . Jackson Dudley completed 14 of his 18 passing attempts for 182 yards and five touchdowns to lead the host Comets (3-3) past the Cornjerkers (2-4) in comfortable fashion, with Oakwood scoring 22 points in the opening frame and 32 points in the second quarter to secure the VVC triumph. Chase Harrison had 125 receiving yards for the Comets, while Kyler Johnson rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Zach Huchel completed 6 of 11 passes for 83 yards and a touchdown for the Cornjerkeres.

    Paxton-Buckley-Loda 22, Prairie Central 7 . The host Panthers (6-0) relied on another big game from Robert Boyd-Meents to earn an Illini Prairie Conference win against the Hawks (3-3) and clinch a playoff berth. Boyd-Meents rushed for 186 yards on 31 carries and two touchdowns to lead the winning charge. PBL's Christian Lopez added a touchdown as part of an 11-yard, five-carry game on the ground, while the Hawks' score came courtesy a touchdown rush from Will Skala.

    Sullivan/Okaw Valley 13, Sangamon Valley 10. A 3-yard touchdown run by Cooper Christensen late in the fourth quarter helped Sullivan/Okaw Valley post a home Lincoln Prairie victory and secure a playoff berth. Christensen rushed for both touchdowns by Sullivan/Okaw Valley (6-0), finishing with 89 rushing yards on 16 carries. Aian Fryman paced the Redskins with 145 rushing yards on 22 carries.

    Villa Grove 42, Cerro Gordo/Bement 7 . Lukas Shadwick's 174-yard, two-touchdown effort helped the Blue Devils (1-5) topple the host Broncos (0-6) in LPC play, with his touchdown passes going to Noah Wilcoxon and Thomas VanDeventer. Wilcoxon added a pair of one-yard touchdown runs, Jacob Golightly had a 73-yard touchdown rush and Nolan Morse returned a blocked field goal 96 yards for a score of his own. Sophia Shaw added three extra points and kicked a 30-yard field goal to help the winning cause. Zachary Huchel found Cole Miller on a touchdown pass while Ayden Larkin rushed for a score to lead the Cornjerkers.

    Westville 48, Clifton Central 40. In a high-scoring and back-forth VVC game, the visiting Tigers headed home with their third straight win. Jack Ajister led a balanced offense for Westville (3-3), rushing for 166 yards on 11 carries and two touchdowns. Easton Bolin finished 6 of 10 for 105 passing yards and two touchdowns, with Landon Coon (two catches for 52 yards) and Lincoln Cravens (two catches for 44 yards) each catching a touchdown. Coon added a 70-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, while Ethan Miller led Westville's defense by making eight tackles, including two for loss.
