Illinois men's basketball tip times, TV info released

CHAMPAIGN — Now you can start making plans, Illinois basketball fans. Tipoff times and TV information were announced for most of the Illini's 2024-25 slate Wednesday afternoon.

The season will begin with a pair of games on streamers. Illinois' Nov. 4 season opener against Eastern Illinois was set for a 7 p.m. tip on BTN Plus, with a 7 p.m. game on Peacock against SIU-Edwardsville on Nov. 8. The EIU game is the only game on BTN Plus, while the SIUE game is one of four on Peacock.

Illinois will have four games on CBS, including its Thanksgiving Day showdown with Arkansas in Kansas City, Mo. There are also four games on Fox — two nonconference games against Tennessee and Duke and two Big Ten games against Michigan State and Purdue.
