After being out Monday and Tuesday, Augusta County students will return to school Wednesday, but on a delay.

Augusta County Public Schools announced that school will be operating on a two-hour delay Wednesday following a weekend of heavy rain and flooding in the area.

Staunton City Schools announced that it will return to a normal schedule Wednesday.

"Just a heads up that Staunton City Schools will operate on a regular schedule tomorrow," a post on Facebook said. "Let's hope for more sunshine than rain."

There has been no announcement from Waynesboro Public Schools.
