Unveil the mysteries of mushrooms: The Enchanted Mushroom Festival debuts in Churchville

CHURCHVILLE — Enchanted Nature, an authority on wild mushrooms and Virginia’s first and only company authorized to manufacture and sell mushroom extracts, announced in a press release the inaugural Enchanted Mushroom Festival.

Set to take place on Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., this event promises to be a delightful celebration of all things fungi, featuring presentations, entertainment, vendors, food and family-friendly activities. This year’s Enchanted Mushroom Festival will be held in Churchville.

Enchanted Nature is spearheaded by Christopher and Victoria Vacher, two of only 13 state-certified mycologists recognized by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Their expertise and dedication to the field have established them as trusted authorities on wild mushrooms in Virginia. Enchanted Nature offers an array of services including mushroom hunting classes, nature tours, and speaking engagements, contributing significantly to the educational landscape of mycology in Virginia.
