History Spotlight: Feighner home

Members of the Feighner family pose in front of this stately Italianate brick farmhouse at 2401 Smith Road in 1905. The home looks much the same today, and it has been in the Henkel family for many years. It is a good example of the many historic farmhouses in the countryside around Fremont.
