    Who qualified to the state track tournament?: High school notebook

    Tyler Thompson won the 200 at 21.92 and was third in the 100 at 10.83, Wyatt Augsburger was second in the 110 hurdles at 14.72 and fifth in the 300 hurdles and Braden Schultz was second in the high jump at 6-04 as Oak Harbor's boys finished first at the Division II regional track meet at Lexington.

    Evan Hall was second in the shot put at 56-01.50 for the Rockets. Carson Ridener, Bodee Miller, Blake Nickel and Augsburger were third in the 4x200 at 1:29.10. A 4x400 finished fifth.

    Clyde's Damarius Chrisman won the 400 at 48.69.

    Bellevue's Wyatt Sumser won the high jump at 6-07 and Jonah Kadow was fourth in the 300 hurdles at 39.82.

    Girls at Lexington

    Camille Robbins, Jade Mitchell, Shianne Lieske and Alexis Shelton won the 4x100 at 48.84, and Robbins, Mitchell, Lieske and Shelton were second in the 4x200 at 1:43.13 as Port Clinton finished third as a team. Michaela Stork was third in the discus at 129-08, Shelton was fourth in the 100 at 12.45 and Morgan Wiechman was fifth in the 3,200.

    Oak Harbor's Olivia Cherry, Kennedy Slates, Olivia May and Effie Schulte won the 4x400 at 3:57.57. Cherry was fourth in the 400 at 57.52.

    Genoa's Lillian Frias cleared 5-05 and won jump off to win the high jump.

    Clyde's Bree Caudill, Gabby Griffin, Daisha Bulger and Cora Liskai were second in the 4x100 at 48.99.

    Bellevue's Ella Rucker was second in the 100 hurdles at 14.70 and fourth in the 300 hurdles at 45.55. Lilly Sosa was fourth in the pole vault at 10-06 and a 4x200 was fifth.

    Division III at Fostoria

    Woodmore's Azure Travis won the 100 hurdles at 14.71 and 300 hurdles at 44.75, and was second in the 100 at 12.34 and 200 at 25.77 for the girls. Emma Hammer was second in the 800 at 2:18.09 for the Wildcats.

    Gibsonburg's McKenzie Montgomery won the pole vault at 12.

    Danbury's Emma Redett won the 3,200 at 11:14.52 and Maggie Thompson was third in the 100 hurdles at 15.80. Redett, Kelly Uhinck, Katelynne Bergman and Maria Maringer were second in the 4x800 at 9:49.95.

    Margaretta's Olivia Saylor was second in the 400 at 58.06, Alayna Biehl was third in the pole vault at 11-08 and Julia Berg was fourth in the long jump at 16-01.25.

    Biehl, Berg, Dani Grunden and Macyn Phillips won the 4x100 at 49.94, Biehl, Berg, Saylor and Phillips won the 4x200 at 1:43.74 and Berg, Phillips, Lillian Belak and Saylor were second in the 4x400 at 3:59.86.

    Lakota's Aubrey Vitte was third in the 100 at 12.60 and fifth in the 200.

    St. Joseph Central Catholic's Elizabeth Rellinger was fifth in the pole vault and Maria Reinhart fifth in the discus.

    Bergman was fifth in the 400 and Maringer was fifth in the 800 for the Lakers. A 4x200 was fifth.

    Boys at Fostoria

    Cooper Tigges was second in the 200 at 22.57 and fifth in the 100, and Caiden Fultz was third in the 3,200 at 9:45.17 for the Polar Bears. Tate Bailey, Kaine Smetzer, Gage Bodey and Miles James won the 4x100 at 43.75, and James, Tate Bailey, Bodey and Kale Bailey won the 4x200 at 1:29.83.

    Jake Bouy was fourth in the high jump at 6-02 and Tate Bailey was fourth in the long jump at 21-01.

    Lakota's Braxton Quaintance was second in the pole vault at 15. Kian Johns was fifth in the pole vault.

    Old Fort's Evan Combs was fourth in the pole vault at 14-04.

    Woodmore's Drake Blausey was fifth in the 800.

    Division I at Port Clinton

    Dominic Brown was fourth in the shot put at 55-06 for Fremont Ross. Kameron Walker was fifth in the 400.

    A 4x200 finished fifth for the Little Giants.

    Tierra Parker was fifth in the shot put for the girls.

    Softball

    Oak Harbor beat West Jefferson 12-2 in five innings in a Division III regional final, after shutting out Margaretta 4-0 in a semifinal.

    The Rockets play Baltimore Liberty Union at 3 p.m. Thursday at Akron Firestone Stadium.

    St. Joseph Central Catholic fell 7-1 to Vienna Mathews in a Division IV regional semifinal.

    Baseball

    Gibsonburg shut out Cardinal Stritch 7-0 in a Division IV district semifinal, before falling 8-1 to Tiffin Calvert.

    Oak Harbor beat Edison 5-4 in a Division III district semifinal, before falling 7-2 to Bucyrus Wynford.
