As previously reported, the two-vehicle fatal crash occurred at around 12:34 p.m. on Ohio 18 at the Township Road 15 intersection in Clinton Township, Seneca County.

Chavis J. Freeman, 40, of Fremont, died as a result of the injuries he sustained in the crash.

Destiny M. Stines, 28, was killed in the crash. Both had been passengers in a 2005 Dodge Magnum driven by John D. Adcock III, 46, also of Fremont. Occupants were not wearing seatbelts and all were ejected from the vehicle.

Freeman sustained serious injuries and was flown to St. Vincent Medical Center from the scene. Adcock was also taken to St. Vincent Medical Center and was no longer listed, as of Wednesday morning.

The Dodge collided with a 2018 Hyundai Sonata, operated by Sarah A. Law, 25, from Republic, Ohio.

"Adcock failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and struck the Hyundai," the Ohio Highway Patrol news release states. "After the collision, the Dodge struck a traffic sign and overturned into a field in the southeast corner of the intersection. The Hyundai struck a traffic sign before coming to rest in the same field."

Law was wearing her seatbelt. She sustained minor injuries and was transported to Tiffin Mercy Health. She is also not listed at the hospital.

The Ohio Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Tiffin Fire Department, Clinton Township Volunteer Fire Department, Seneca County EMS, Mercy Health Life-Flight, Seneca County Coroner’s Office, The Ohio Department of Transportation, and Rush Towing.

The Norwalk Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating.
