    Sandusky County Elections office to offer early voting through Nov. 3

    Early voting is scheduled to start Oct. 8 in Ohio including at the Sandusky County Board of Elections.

    The office in Fremont will be open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 8-11 and Oct. 14-18 at 2020 Countryside Drive.

    The office will be open 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Oct. 21-25. The board office will also be open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 26 and 1-5 p.m. Oct. 27.

    Hours will vary he week before the general election: 7:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Oct. 28, 7:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Oct. 29, and 7:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. Oct. 30-Nov. 1. The office will be open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 2 and 1-5 p.m. Nov. 3.

    Early voting to continue through Nov. 3

    There will be no in-office voting Nov. 4. Voters must visit their polling locations Nov. 5 between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. A valid Ohio photo identification is required.

    Absentee ballots may be requested by 8:30 p.m. Oct. 29. Early voting absentee ballots are available at voteohio.gov and can be dropped at the Sandusky County Board Office or mailed. Sample ballots are available at sandusky.oh-vote.org/VoterView/Home.do .
