CLYDE -Marquis 66, a Columbus rock band, will perform on Aug. 30 at the Clyde Museum, 124 W. Buckeye St.

It will be a rockin’ night of oldies and classic rock-n-roll music starting at 6 p.m. on the museum's lawn. Bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating on the front lawn, or place a lawn chair on W. Buckeye Street, as the street will be closed for the concert that evening.

Tim’s Food Truck of Fremont will be serving a variety of food and drinks, such as burgers, bratwurst, shredded chicken sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, macaroni salad, baked beans, fresh-squeezed lemonade, cold soft drinks, and more.

Parking will be available in the alleyway parking lots behind the museum (enter from Forest Street.), on-street parking on Main Street, the downtown plaza on Railroad Street, and the overflow parking lot at the Edward Jones financial offices on the corner of West Buckeye and George Street.

The Clyde Heritage League and the City of Clyde sponsor the concert.

If inclement weather occurs, the concert will be moved inside the museum to the Hurd Room (limited seating is available in the Hurd Room). For updates, visit the museum’s Facebook page, Clyde Museum and General McPherson House, or call 419-547-7946.

The Clyde Museum is open 1 to 5 p.m. Thursdays and 10 a.m. to1 p.m. Saturdays, and the General McPherson House is open by appointment only.
