    Watch western NC rivers on live web cams as Helene moves through the state

    It isn’t safe to travel to the North Carolina mountains with Hurricane Helene’s rains pouring down, but you can see the water rising and rushing down various rivers as possibly historic flooding occurs. Here are some live river cams showing the flooding in real time.

    Note that webcams may be down occasionally due to severe weather in those areas.

    French Broad River
