    Photos: Search for victims of ‘apocalyptic’ flooding in NC continues with many still cut off from help

    Across North Carolina, many residents are impacted by the devastation left by Tropical Storm Helene, a disaster that has left thousands without power, safe roads, cell phone service or potable water. At least 11 people are dead as of Sunday and shelters are opening across the state.
