Area teams now have a couple of games under their belts as we enter the third week of the FHSAA calendar and Week 4 for our Southwest Florida SSAA programs.
One game on the slate stands out above the rest as the Top 10 in Class 7A and the No. 5 team on the USA Today Florida Network Super 25 poll , Venice High School , visits Matthews Drive to take on Bishop Verot, the No. 2 team in Class 2A . That is certainly not the only big game this week as rivalries abound with games such as F ort Myers at Cypress Lake, Immokalee at Naples, and North Fort Myers at Mariner among the 21 games on this week's slate.
