This ‘brunch haven’ opening in Puyallup has breakfast sandwiches, burgers and coffee

South Hill is gaining a new place for sandwiches, burgers and coffee.

The restaurant, egghole, is coming to 4301 S. Meridian by the end of August. It is a “brunch haven” that already has locations in Lakewood and Kent, according to its website .

The Puyallup location used to be Muscle Maker Grill, which closed last month .

Customers can expect breakfast sandwiches such as the Walk of Shame, which includes scrambled eggs, caramelized onions, American cheese and sriracha mayo on a brioche bun. It costs about $11.

Owner Michael Brown said the Walk of Shame is one of their best-sellers.

The breakfast and lunch spot also has energy drinks such as Sour Patch Kid and Glow Up. Sour Patch Kid consists of dragonfruit, mango, lime, pink lotus energy and lemonade. Glow Up consists of coconut, blue raspberry, blue lotus energy and coconut milk. Energy drinks cost about $6.

Everything on the menu is customizable, Brown said. Customers can add avocado, bacon and other sides to their sandwiches and burgers. A typical customer spends between $10 to $20 per meal, he said.

Brown grew up in Tacoma, and he has been in the restaurant industry for about 30 years. He said the best part of being a restaurateur is seeing the joy on peoples’ faces when they take their first bite.

Brown said that “egghole’s mission is to give people the strength and energy to tackle their day.”
