Puyallup police are asking the public to help find a 35-year-old woman who went missing Sunday.

Jessica McBeath missed a church class she was supposed to teach Sunday morning and didn’t show up to work Monday, according to the Police Department’s social media posts just before 10:30 a.m. Monday.

“This is out of character for Jessica according to family members who have been unable to reach her,” the posts said.

Police also shared information about her disappearance through the city’s emergency alert system , which reached residents Monday afternoon by text message, email and a robocall recording of Puyallup Police Chief Scott Engle asking for the public’s help.
