Husband arrested for attacking, kidnapping wife

BOONVILLE – A Prentiss County man remains in jail after being charged with attacking and kidnapping his wife last week.

The female victim contacted the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Office July 27 to file a report. She said the night before, her husband beat her at their County Road 6011 residence. She had bruising on her body, including bruising around her neck. She said her husband repeatedly choked her until she almost lost consciousness, then let her up briefly. She said he refused to allow her to leave the residence and took her phone and electronics so she could not call for help.
