Habitat recipient praises God, receives keys to Verona home

TUPELO — Kimberly Ledbetter said her faith and her family got her through the process of homeownership and construction of her home with Habitat for Humanity. In fact, it is written into the walls of her new home.

Northeast Mississippi Habitat for Humanity held a dedication ceremony for its first house of the year, Friday morning. The house, located on Fifth Street in Verona, was built almost entirely through the help of volunteers and the sponsorship of a local branch of the national banking giant Regions Bank.
