OXFORD – A man wanted by the Oxford police was found in the Lee County Jail, where he had been sitting for months on similar charges.

In mid-May, the Oxford Police Department received a call from Lee County Sheriff’s Office about a man wanted in Oxford for child molestation. Zachary T. Adams, 28, of Holly Hill Road, Tupelo, was arrested May 20 and charged with four counts of enticement of a child to meet for sexual purposes, and two counts of molestation. During his initial appearance, he was ordered held without bond. He was arraigned on those charges Monday Oct. 7 in circuit court where a judge set a new $50,000 bond with the stipulation that he has no contact with the victims and wears a GPS monitor.
