OSHKOSH – Visitors coming for next year’s NFL Draft will have another option for accommodation.

EAA says it plans to make the drive-in Camp Scholler campsites available in late April 2025 to help meet the high demand for lodging during the April 24-26 event at Lambeau Field.

“Our campground’s easy access to Green Bay via Interstate 41 is an advantage for NFL fans attending the draft,” said EAA Director of Events Chris Farrell.

“This unique opportunity also gives NFL Draft fans an opportunity to discover the world of flight as shared through EAA’s Spirit of Aviation.”

According to a news release, campsites can be reserved as early as Aug. 16 through EAA’s website at EAA.org/Camping/Football .

Each campsite is available April 19-29 next year, with a three-night minimum at $175 per night. Payment is due in full at the time of reservation.

The campsites have water and electrical availability for one camper or recreational vehicle, as well as space for one vehicle or two motorcycles. In addition, extra vehicles may be parked in an overflow parking lot at $25 per day per vehicle.

EAA is also providing two complimentary passes to its aviation museum and a 20% discount certificate for merchandise at the Barnstormer Boutique.

The initiative comes as much-welcomed news for the Green Bay area, which expects an estimated 250,000 visitors for the draft but has already run out of hotel rooms.

The NFL and team staffs have booked almost all of the 4,800 hotel rooms in Brown County while Airbnb prices are skyrocketing.

And the demand could be more considering last April’s draft in Detroit attracted a record-setting attendance of 775,000 people.

“With hundreds of thousands of football fans coming to northeast Wisconsin, accommodations are at a premium and people have asked if we would be available to assist,” Farrell said.

“As our drive-in campground is well prepared for large groups during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh and other events, we are able to open Camp Scholler for 10 days while the football world is focused on Green Bay.”

The campground is set to close April 29 to prepare for EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2025, scheduled for July 21-27.
