    Men who worked at Ground Zero will serve as featured speakers at EAA's 9/11 memorial presentation

    OSHKOSH – Two men who worked at Ground Zero during and after the New York terrorist attacks will be the featured speakers of the EAA Aviation Museum ’s annual 9/11 memorial presentation at 7 p.m. Sept. 11 in Eagle Hangar.

    Retired New York City Fire Department Deputy Chief Charles Blaich and Emergency Manager Michael Fagel, who was assigned by the U.S. Department of Justice to assist the FDNY in the aftermath of the attack, will share their firsthand stories during the forum.

    Blaich was on duty on 9/11 and participated in the cleanup efforts while Fagel was on-site for more than 100 days following the terrorist attack.

    The presentation is open to the public, with a general admission fee of $5.

    Active members of the military, law enforcement, public safety personal, first responders and EAA members are invited free of charge.
