    When are trick or treat times in Winnebago County for 2024? Here's what to know.

    OSHKOSH – It’s time to stock up on the candy and find those costumes.

    Witching hour is almost upon us!

    Get ready for goblins and ghouls to hit ghost towns across Winnebago County as Halloween is now just a couple weeks away.

    But when can the little tykes go out to get their treats?

    Here are the official trick-or-treat times on Oct. 31 for the Winnebago County communities.

    • Fox Crossing — 4 to 7 p.m.
    • Menasha — 4 to 7 p.m.
    • Neenah — 4 to 7 p.m.
    • Omro — 4 to 7 p.m.
    • Oshkosh — 5 to 7 p.m.
    • Winneconne — 4 to 8 p.m.

    'The Backrooms': HobbyTown Oshkosh, home of 'The Backrooms,' is raising funds for a new roof.

    Here are some tips to trick or treat safely.

    • Children should accompany an adult.
    • Take a flashlight and only visit well-lit homes.
    • Don’t enter a stranger’s home.
    • Always sort candy before eating. Avoid homemade treats and only eat factory-wrapped candy.
    • Don’t run between houses and use sidewalks wherever possible.
    • Walk facing traffic in single file.
