Newport Beach, California -- Can people live longer by cultivating healthy relationships? A Harvard study conducted over a period of 80 years confirmed that the most important factor in longevity after age 50 is the quality of personal relationships.

Helping people turn back the hands of time are Barbara Grossman, Ph.D., and Michael Grossman, M.D.

The two have been married for more than 50 years, and in their book, "Ageless Love: the Sexy Science of Falling in Love Forever," they help couples grow and nurture an intense, passionate love that lasts while navigating the inevitable challenges that all couples encounter.

“Once you have a defined connection, there are expectations, and there’s a desire for ongoing connection,” Dr. Barbara Grossman said.

“You have to stay tuned in to each other to know when things need to change.”

Their book essentially poses the question:

What better way to live a long life than with an equal romantic partner?

Watch a recent interview with the doctors here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIBpFOMHmfw&t=15s .

Ageless Love, the authors and their advocates assert, is filled with practical wisdom based on the doctors’ 37-plus years of clinical practice -- and 50 years married to each other.

The doctors share their insights to clarify and enlighten readers regarding:

    ● How to work with, not against, the inevitable stages of love.

    ● Strategies that balance both security and mystery in romance.

    ● Clear prescriptions for specific skills that create passionate, romantic love.

    ● Prescriptions from the latest medical science for your body’s vitality at any age.

    ● How meditation and forgiveness open the heart and nurture “ageless love.”

Dr. Michael Grossman recently released another new book, Secrets to Deep & Effortless Meditation, to build upon the meditation insights shared in Ageless Love.

Based on Jewish Kabbalah, Secrets to Deep & Effortless Meditation is described in promotional materials as "essential for those who have been unsuccessful in experiencing deep peace in meditation. It presents an inspiring view of the practice and value of meditation and describes how to deal with all experiences that can arise in meditation and how to allow the process to unfold into deep peace."

Michael Grossman reflects, “Modern life is filled with busyness, which was not present 50 years ago. Computers, cell phones, and both parents working create huge amounts of stress and anxiety. Meditation is necessary to live a healthy and joyful life, filled with peace, love, and creativity.”
