Grammy Award-winning gospel recording artist Kirk Franklin is bringing his "Reunion Tour" to Oklahoma City ― and he's bringing his friends.

The Reunion concert, set for 7 p.m. Oct. 21, will include recording artists described as Franklins "co-headliners, esteemed peers and gospel music icons" on the Paycom Center's website. They include Yolanda Adams, Fred Hammond, Marvin Sapp and The Clark Sisters. Kierra Sheard-Kelly is expected to join the tour as a special guest.

Franklin, a 20-time Grammy Award-winning producer, songwriter and recording artist, burst onto the Christian music scene in 1993 with the debut album "Kirk Franklin & The Family." The album reached No. 1 on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums chart and spawned several hits including "Why We Sing."

Top singles in the early years of his career have included "Melodies from Heaven," and "Stomp," a 1997 crossover hit from the album "God's Property from Kirk Franklin's Nu Nation." "Stomp," featuring Franklin, iconic rap duo Salt-N-Pepa and rapper Cheryl James, charted on Billboard's mainstream R&B airplay list in addition to becoming a favorite among gospel music fans.

More recent hits include "I Smile," "Love Theory" and "Try Love."

Meanwhile, each of Franklin's co-headliners are Grammy Award winners in their own right. Hammond and Sapp, once part of the iconic gospel group Commissioned, have held sway as solo artists, each with their respective collections of gospel hits. Gospel recording artist Adams, known for her soaring vocals, was the host of a long-running gospel radio show.

Known as the First Ladies of Gospel, The Clark Sisters — Jacky Clark Chisholm, Denise "Niecy" Clark-Bradford, Elbernita "Twinkie" Clark, Dorinda Clark-Cole and Karen Clark Sheard — are the daughters of legendary gospel musician and choral director Mattie Moss Clark. Kierra Sheard-Kelly, Karen Clark Sheard's daughter, has followed in the family's musical footsteps as a solo artist with powerhouse vocals.
