OSSAA approves ADM numbers for 2024-25. Here's how it affects Oklahoma high school sports.

The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association has released its average daily membership numbers for the 2024-25 school year.

Average daily membership, or ADM, is the average number of students who attend a school each day.

The numbers will not be used for sports such as football , which has already set districts for this school year, but they will be used to assign football districts in the next two seasons after the 2024-25 school year.

Schools can be in different classifications across different sports. Not every school competes in every sport. Also, private schools can move up with postseason success because of the OSSAA's Rule 14 .

Here’s a breakdown of the basketball classifications and other sports that group teams in this general order:

• 6A - Largest 32 schools
• 5A - Next 32 largest schools
• 4A - Next 64 largest schools
• 3A - Next 64 largest schools
• 2A - Next 64 largest schools
• A - Next 96 largest schools
• B - All remaining schools
