Oklahoma City police arrest suspect after body found in car

Oklahoma City police arrested a 32-year-old woman Tuesday after finding a deceased person inside a vehicle in the 800 block of East Drive.

After finding the victim around 6 p.m. on Monday, investigators learned the victim and the suspect in the case were involved in a domestic dispute earlier in the day, according to an Oklahoma City Police Department news alert.

The department reported the dispute happened in the 3000 block of S I-35 Service Road.

During the altercation, police reported that the suspect struck the victim with their vehicle and was not taken to a hospital.

The suspect was interviewed and later booked into jail on a murder complaint. The Oklahoma City Police Department is withholding the name of the victim pending next-of-kin notification.
