Contestants in this season’s cast come from a variety of backgrounds, from a flight attendant to an E-Sports commentator and everything in between. They must learn to build community, make alliances and strategize all while attempting to vote each other out.

Season 47 of "Survivor" is set to premiere on Sept. 18 with a two-hour episode. The season was filmed in Fiji as the 18 contestants vie for the title of “sole survivor” and the $1 million prize that comes with it.

But Del City native Solomon "Sol" Yi said he will be the next "Sol Survivor" in the show's history.
