Player of the game: Cadyn Krueger. The Bulldogs' star quarterback was electric on Thursday while helping Lexington improve to 3-1. The junior completed over 80% of his throws for 123 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for 101 yards and an additional score on the ground.

Key moment: After back-to-back penalties backed up the Bulldogs 15 yards from the original spot, Krueger found receiver Gavrie Williams, who broke a few tackles before taking a slant 76 yards for a touchdown. This pivotal moment deflated Little Axe's hopes for a comeback after showing signs of fight left.

Read option: The Bulldogs' victory marked the second-most points scored by Lexington against Little Axe in their 35th all-time meeting against one another. The Indians have now lost their last seven matchups against Lexington as head coach Keith Bolles is undefeated in the series since becoming head coach in 2020.
