Players of the game: Edmond Memorial quarterback David McComb and defensive back Diantre Bennett. McComb, a senior Kansas commit, showcased both his passing and rushing ability as he led the Bulldogs’ offense, completing 14 of 25 passes for 194 yards and a touchdown and carrying the ball six times for 112 yards and a score. Bennett, a junior, intercepted two passes, one of which was in his own end zone as Norman North was in Edmond Memorial territory and threatening to score.

Top moment: McComb ran for a 58-yard touchdown with 1:48 left in the game as Edmond Memorial took a 21-0 lead, and it was an impressive highlight from the 6-foot-3, 215-pounder. McComb took the snap and ran to his right before finding some open space and bulldozing over a Norman North defender, then broke away and reached the end zone.

Norman North’s Owen Eshelman has busy night: The senior quarterback and South Dakota State commit had 25 carries for 190 yards and one touchdown and finished 18-of-41 passing for 215 yards with two interceptions. Norman North outgained Edmond Memorial 441-380 in yards of offense but struggled to finish drives and reach the end zone.
