STILLWATER — The way Oklahoma State 's game against West Virginia has gone Saturday afternoon has ESPN analyst wondering if Ollie Gordon II should start focusing on his NFL future.

Gordon limped off the field early in the third quarter with an apparent leg injury with the Cowboys trailing 31-7.

"Ollie may have to start thinking about himself as the game, this season continues," ESPN analyst Kirk Morrison said on the game broadcast.

The star junior running back was hurt after catching a pass with 13:46 on the clock, and he was then helped off the field.

Gordon ran for a nation-leading 1,732 yards last season, and he won the Doak Walker Award for the top running back in college football. He ran the ball 13 times for 50 yards on Saturday prior to his departure.

Gordon briefly entered the injury tent and then remained on the sideline. OSU sideline reporter Robert Allen reported that Gordon "Looks like he's OK."
