ORANGE — A gofundme page has been set up to help with funeral expenses for a Vidor man killed in a motorcycle crash Monday night.

James Valdez, 44, of Vidor was driving a 2001 Yahama motorcycle when he struck some debris in the roadway which caused him to strike the guardrail at approximately 9:25 p.m. Monday on Interstate 109 east near the 877 mile marker.

Valdez was pronounced dead at the scene by a Justice of the Peace, according to information from the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The case remains under investigation by DPS.

The gofundme page can be found at Help Cover Funeral Costs for Beloved Uncle.
