First, no more raising taxes and second, If the teachers can't get their students to graduate on time and past their classes, they should be docked wages as it was done in the past. Forget turnstile graduations with no merit and this protecting garbage teachers via a union, so they can continue there Bad teaching practices on our kids. The arts tax was supposed to bring back all those canceled school programs. I.e. airbrush, painting, sculptury.Graphic design, etc.... NOT Go to the friends and families of local DEMOCRATS AND CITY COUNCIL members for multi hundred thousand dollar eyesore art projects thrown in around town.
