Well a lot of people close down the bars on a Saturday night, especially ones that have entertainment going on. It was just at closing, so probably walking to his car. That area has gotten crazy dangerous, it's sad. I'm way past those days, but my friends and I used to bar hop all over downtown portland, watching bands and catching shows and thought nothing of staying until 2:30am. Hell, sometimes we didn't even get to the club until 11:00!
