2024 Oxford Blues Festival cancelled

The 13th annual Oxford Blue Festival slated for Sept. 13 & 14, has been cancelled.

Darryl Parker, festival organizer posted an announcement on social media Thursday afternoon.

“We had hoped to bring the community together again this year, but circumstances have made it impossible,” Parker wrote.

Parker said the event was canceled due to health issues. He said he recently underwent spinal surgery and that the recovery process was “more demanding” than he had anticipated.

“We remain hopeful and optimistic about returning next year, stronger than ever,” he said.

Refunds will be given to those who have already purchased tickets.
