Possible pedestrian vs. a vehicle on West Jackson

First responders are on the scene on West Jackson Avenue in front of the Dairy Queen for what appears to be a pedestrian stuck by a vehicle.

Passersby reported seeing a man lying in the road and not moving.

His condition is unknown at this time.

The Oxford Police Department sent an alert via social media at 6:35 p.m. that Jackson Avenue is shutting down to allow the Wings medical helicopter to land.

Avoid the area if possible.
