Palm Beach closes lane of South County Road through Friday for water main work

A northbound lane of South County Road through Midtown will be closed this week in Palm Beach.

One of the thoroughfare's northbound lanes between Peruvian and Worth avenues will be shut down from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today through May 24 so crews can work on a water main, the town said in an alert sent to residents.

Drivers in the area should use caution and watch for workers, the town said.

Farther south in Lake Worth Beach, there will be intermittent eastbound and westbound lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday on the Lake Avenue Bridge, as crews work on the bridge, the town said.
