Palm Beach town offices to close for Labor Day holiday; golf, tennis centers will be open

Town offices will be closed Monday in observance of Labor Day holiday.

No construction or landscaping work will be allowed, but all recreation facilities with the exception of the Mandel Recreation Center will be open, and lifeguards will staff town beaches.

The Par 3 Golf Course will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Phipps Ocean Park Tennis Center will operate from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the Seaview Tennis Center will operate from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the Town Marina office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All commercial garbage and recycling collections will be serviced as usual. There will be residential garbage pickup service for residences on Kawama Lane/Chateaux Drive north to East Inlet Drive only. No other residential areas in the town will be serviced.

Stash areas for yard trash will be serviced during residential collection between Tuesday and Friday.
