    Wine, dine and even a bit of fashion is ahead in October at these Palm Beach restaurants

    October sommelier-led wine tastings and dinners are set for three Palm Beach restaurants: Café Boulud, La Goulue and Café L’Europe, which also will feature a fashion show at its wine-centric event.

    Their collective wine-starring affairs are Oct. 13, 17, 20, 23 and 27; seating is limited and advance reservations are required.

    Here's a look at the three:

    La Goulue wine-paired tasting

    La Goulue has planned wine-paired tasting meals Oct. 13, 20 and 27. Each is from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. with a four-course tasting menu by executive chef Gwen Le Pape and wines selected by La Goulue sommelier Xavier To Van Trang.

    Visiting wine experts on tap include Giancarlo Chapoutier for Oct. 13 and Chantal Gonet and Karine Valentin for Oct. 20. Burgundy wines will be the focus of the event on the 27th..

    Pours from the Loire Valley at Café Boulud

    On Oct. 17, Café Boulud will feature a wine dinner ($195 a person) showcasing pours from France’s renowned Loire Valley.

    With wines selected by Café Boulud sommelier David Sauer and a four-course dinner by executive chef Christopher Zabita, the event starts with a 6:45 p.m. reception, followed by a four-course dinner at 7 p.m.

    Look for such wine-paired dinner courses as smoky grilled cuttlefish with butternut squash, kaffir lime and Aleppo pepper; monkfish with ham served with black lentils and king-trumpet mushrooms; and duck au chou with apple gastrique and crispy rillette.

    Dessert? A nectarine financier .

    Wine and fashion at Café L’Europe

    Café L’Europe’s October wine dinner with a fashion show is Oct. 23 with Parisian cuisine paired with wines from Colle di Maggio in Rome, according to restaurant co-owner Emanuela Marcello.

    A classic four-course French dinner will be served; the menu is being finalized by executive chefs Alain Krauss and Benoit Delos.

    Along with wine insights shared by Café Boulud sommelier Sergio Cuadros, the event’s fashion show will include apparel and accessories from Palm Beach retailers Marco Cimmino and Jennifer Tartanelli, according to Café L’Europe.

    The Paris/Rome wine dinner at Café L’Europe is an all-inclusive $245 a person.
