WHA started off strong to win the first two sets 25-17 and 25-18. Greenway took the second 25-19, but in the fourth WHA held on for a 25-22 victory.

The Wolves finished with 38 kills and had 12 aces on 93 percent serving.

Makenna Oelschlager led with nine kills, Avery Morrison and Laraya Lynch both had seven, Kylea Ludwig and Adyson Kurtz each had five, with Aubrey Morrison adding three.

Avery Morrison was 19-19 serving with three aces, Addie Schneider 17-18 with one ace, Oelschlager 15-16 with one ace, Katryn Smith 14-15 with three aces and Aubrey Morrison 13-14 with one ace. Ludwig also had three aces.

On the defensive side, Avery Morrison finished with 23 digs, both Smith and Oelschlager had eight, while Schneider added eight. Schneider led with 30 assists.

WHA has three straight home matches with Blackduck and Sebeka this week, and Hawley next week. The Wolves travel to Kelliher-Northome Sept. 12 and host the WHA Invite Sept. 14.
