Tia Juanita’s Fish Camp is making a move to a different location but not to worry, they will still offer the same fan fav’s.

Currently located at 3400 Jimmy Johnson Blvd., the new location is the former site of Reel Cajun, 7500 Twin City Hwy. — which is less than three miles down the road.

Manager Davis Sarles said there is no set opening date but they hope to be out of the current location by September or early fall.

The new location on Twin City Highway is slightly larger and will have a bit more capacity, he said. This building has a different footprint so the inside will be a bit different.

Renovation of the new site is underway with construction crews seen inside and outside Monday. One section of the outside was already painted in the standard Tia Juanita’s color scheme by midday.

Manager David Sarles said there is no set opening date for the move.

The owner of Tia Juanita’s has been leasing the Jimmy Johnson Boulevard site since it opened in April 2019. They own the new building, Sarles said.

Owner Ricky Martinez is also expanding his business in Beaumont with a new concept, Mamma Tia’s Bistro, a Mexican-Italian fusion. It will be located at 5535 Calder Ave., Beaumont.
