Nederland Police blotter – Calls and arrests from July 29 to Aug. 4

Nederland Police Department officers made the following arrests and responded to the following calls from July 29 to Aug. 4:

July 29

• Possession of a controlled substance and possession of a dangerous drug were reported in the 1000 block of Spurlock Road.

July 30

• Marga Jeanette Kyle, 37, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 700 block of Twin City Highway.
• An officer assisted another agency at U.S. 69 and FM 365, Port Arthur.
• Assault offensive touch-family violence was reported in the 500 block of Boston Avenue.
• Possession of a controlled substance was reported in the 3700 block of Nederland Avenue.

July 31

• Discharge of a firearm was reported in the 1200 block of South 13 ^th Street.

Aug. 1

• Kiristin Lyons, 25, was arrested for fail to ID and warrant other agency in the 200 block of U.S. North 69.
• Jesus Gutierrez, 18, was arrested for warrant other agency in the 1100 block of Avenue H.
• Possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, unlawfully carrying a weapon and warrant other agency was reported in the 800 block of South Twin City Highway.

Aug. 2

• Brandy Nicole Freeman, 49, was arrested for driving while intoxicated with open container in the 1200 block of South 37 ^th Street.
• Assault offensive touch-family violence was reported in the 100 block of North 12 ^th Street.
• Accident involving damage to vehicle was reported in the 1200 block of Avenue H.
• Leaving the scene of an accident was reported in the 1800 block of Nederland Avenue.
• An officer assisted another agency in the 3400 block of Avenue L.

Aug. 3

• Michael Marshall, 51, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, unlawful carrying weapon in the 300 block of North 8 ^th Street.
• Nin-Marie Santiago, 18, was arrested for assault offensive touch-family violence in the 300 block of Hill Terrace.

Aug. 4

• Theft was reported in the 2100 block of FM 365.
• Theft was reported in the 400 block of North 36 ^th street.
• An information report was made in the 200 block of North Memorial Boulevard.
• Esteban Rivera Garcia, 25, was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 200 block of Memorial Boulevard.
• Joel Ruiz, 26, was arrested for driving while intoxicated with open container in the 200 block of Memorial Boulevard.
