PAISD continues to offer free meals to students

Port Arthur Independent School District will continue to operate the Community Eligibility Provision for the 2024-2025 school year.

PAISD will continue to offer healthy meals every school day to all students at no cost.

Typically, a student’s household must meet income eligibility requirements to qualify for free or reduced-price meals. Parents and guardians will not be required to submit a free/reduced-priced meal application; however, PAISD is asking that families complete the required socioeconomic information form included in the registration packet. The information collected is confidential and will NOT be shared or used for any other purpose. In doing so, all concerned parties ensure the district continues to receive the necessary funding and benefits to maintain free meals for all kids.
