Braedon Ellefson scored on touchdown runs of 1 and 11 yards and also had a 15-yard touchdown pass to Carter Howard for Kimberly (1-0).

KAUKAUNA - The Ghosts got a 3-yard touchdown run from Kyle Kress with 54 seconds remaining and then a huge defensive play from Will Clark to pull out the victory over the Phantoms.

Kress’ touchdown run and the extra point by Linkoln Xiong gave the Ghosts a 35-31 lead.

On West De Pere’s ensuing possession, quarterback Chris Greisen completed a long pass down the middle of the field to Brock Story, who caught the ball at the Kaukauna 34 and raced toward the end zone for the go-ahead score.

Kaukauna junior cornerback caught Story around the 10-yard line and knocked the ball out of his hands. The ball tumbled forward into the end zone and then out of the end zone for a touchback, giving Kaukauna possession.
