Santa Rosa’s Moonlight Brewing is throwing a birthday bash

Those who’ve lived in Sonoma County for a while may still get a little thrill when they see Moonlight Brewing’s Death & Taxes on tap, because they remember the days when finding the brewery’s flagship black lager in the wild was anything but certain. Today, knowing it’s available in their Santa Rosa taproom, which opened in 2016, is something worth celebrating, as is the microbrewery’s 32nd anniversary.

The brewery is throwing a birthday bash from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, with plenty of kegs tapped for the occasion, and pizza from The Spot Food Truck and Gabacool Provisions. Enjoy live music from The School of Rock Band and The Sam Chase & the Untraditional. It’s kid-friendly, too, with a jumpy house and a magician to keep the little ones entertained while parents drain a pint (or two).
