In 2023, organizers say the campaign helped over 150,000 animals find home while raising over $575,000.

They should be waving adoption fees altogether to empty the shelters. It’s way out of most peoples reach trying to adopt an animal. I got mine privately from an owner for $250 and I love them to pieces. He’s an eight month old beautiful golden purebred lab if I had to go through the shelters, they’ll be hundreds and hundreds of dollars if they waive the fees, they shelters would empty and we wouldn’t have these wonderful defenseless animals lingering away with no life whatsoever so sad and they claim their animal lovers. It’s a big fat lie and I’m not the only one that says I hear it all the time.
