    GIRLS TENNIS

    Division I

    South Kingstown 5, Smithfield 2

    The Rebels picked up three quick wins, then Tess Ruhren finished her match off at No. 2 for the clinching point in the eventual 5-2 win over the Sentinels.

    South Kingstown took care of business to earn its first two points, as All-Stater Alexa Clark won, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 1, and No. 3 Marin Roman came up with a 6-1, 6-0 win.

    The Rebels added a third point when the No. 2 doubles team of Ella Bousquet and Jillian Colantonio grabbed a 6-4, 6-3 victory. Soon after, Ruhren finished her match off at No. 2, 6-3, 6-5. SK’s No. 3 doubles team of Isabella Quirk and Jocelyn Slocum grabbed the final point with a 6-2, 6-3 win.

    Smithfield’s No. 1 doubles team of Elena Kristidhi and Adelia Marshall grabbed a 6-4, 7-5 win and Samantha Sanders came from behind to pick up a three-set victory, 5-7, 6-3, 10-3.

    Division II

    Westerly 4, Chariho 3

    Singles : Virginia Royce (Westerly) beat Faith Owen (Chariho), 6-0 6-2; Allison Cole (C) beat Erica Nyberg (W), 6-4 6-1; Aubrey Campbell (C) beat Mallorey Clark (W), 6-1, 6-4; Addison Serra (W) beat Molly Owren (C) 6-3, 6-2.

    Doubles : Olivia Madeira & Olivia Gray (C) beat Maggie Scanapieco & Simone Hackett (W), 5-7, 6-2 6-2; Madison Mankoff & Mia Urso (W) beat Ella Murphy & Mackenzie Andrade (C), 6-1, 6-3; Katelyn Arnold  & Macey Garafola (W) beat Juliet C

    North Smithfield 4, Lincoln 3

    North Smithfield's third doubles team of Emilia Budzyna and Kaitlyn Archambault came through with a 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) victory over Lana Bahra and Charlotte Kilsey and that proved to be the difference as the Northmen, now 8-4, edged the Lions (4-8).

    FIELD HOCKEY

    Pilgrim 1, Chariho 0

    Alayna Bowser scored the only goal of the game and with a solid effort in goal by teammate Jocelyn Dilone (12 saves), the Patriots blanked the Chargers and as a result, they get in the win column for the first time this season.

    BOYS SOCCER

    Division II

    Lincoln 2, West Warwick 1

    Goals by Lucas Donfrancesco and Charlie Eltz and 4 saves by Aaron Kanter lifted the Lions (7-2-4) to the victory. Aaron Ciotola had the goal and Alexander Hoxie was outstanding in net with 16 saves for the Wizards (4-10-0).

    GIRLS SOCCER

    Division I

    Cumberland 2, Chariho 1

    The Clippers avenged their only Division I loss of the season to date by edging the Chargers. Emma Kucal netted the opener in the first half and set up Paynter Maher's winner in the second half for Cumberland. Chariho blasted the defending state champions by a 6-1 count last month.

    Division III

    St. Raphael 4, Narragansett 0

    Stephanie Sassi scored 2 goals and Gabriela Cuella and Isabella Alcantara each had single tallies as the Saints cruised to a victory and remained perfect this season with a 12-0-0 record. Goalie Grace Blessing kept it respectable by making 21 saves for the Mariners, now 5-5-1.

    Division IV

    Lincoln School 4, Central Falls 0

    Sarah Berube, Susanna Duggan, Maggie MacDonald and Lena Alawi each scored a goal. Alivia Harris had 3 saves in the complete game shutout for the Lynx. Lincoln School improves to 6-2, while the Warriors slip to 3-8.

    GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

    Division I

    Toll Gate 3, Achievement First 0

    Mary McNulty led the Titans with 11 kills and Samantha Meunièr added 4 kills, 5 aces and 1 block in the win (25-23, 25-21, 25-22). For the Falcons, Angelica Matias Moreno had 3 kills and 4 aces, and Sherlie Pena recorded 5 aces and 3 kills.

    Michelle Tzalam had a night with four goals and teammate Karyzma Mederos had the other score as the Knights shut out Juanita Sanchez/PC/St. Pats. Yisel Morales-Reyes has 3 saves to preserve the shutout for Central which is now 3-7-1. Aliana Ortega had 14 saves for the winless co-op in the loss.

    Division IV

    Shea 3, Blackstone Valley 0

    Two kills, 7 assists and 3 aces by Cailyah Correia and 4 kills, 1 block and 5 aces by Jennifer Dos Santos sparked the Raiders to a 25-19, 25-9, 25-14 sweep and their ninth win in 12 matches. Zoe Costa had 3 kills for the Pride, who remain winless at 0-12.
