    Greater Pueblo Sports Association announces dates, inductees for '24 Hall of Fame class

    The Greater Pueblo Sports Association announced its newest class of inductees for 2024.

    This year the GPSA will induct the following individuals into the 2024 GPSA Hall of Fame: Joe Cervi, Prim Ivan, Chris James, Jim Ranson, Alexa Sandoval (Snyder), Mike Thompson and Bill Yalotz  Jr.

    The induction will take place Nov. 14 at the Occhiato Ballroom, at CSU Pueblo. The ceremony starts at 7 p.m.

    Tickets to the banquet go on sale Sept. 30. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at Rogers Enterprise, Inc., 405 W. 8th St. Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and ticket sales are cash or check only. For additional information call 719-543-7301.

    A more detailed list of the newest inductees will be featured at a later time.

    Last year, the GPSA inducted John Loia, Dan Sanchez, Korry Sperry, Casey King, Todd "TK" Kelly and Dale Cresswell.

    The Greater Pueblo Sports Association is a group of people interested in promoting prominent athletes, sports teams, and recreational activities in Pueblo County to be a part of the Greater Pueblo Sports Association Hall of Fame.

    Each person nominated to the Hall of Fame starts with someone sending in the nomination to the GPSA. If you'd like to nominate someone for the Hall of Fame or if you have any questions about the application, please contact Jerry Sisneros (jrrysis@yahoo.com).
