    Ingredients you need to make Pumpkin Bread with Cream Cheese Frosting

    Pumpkin Bread Ingredients:

    • 1-¾ cup all purpose flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
    • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
    • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
    • ¾ cup pumpkin puree
    • 1-½ cups granulated sugar
    • ½ cup vegetable oil
    • ⅓ cup water
    • 2 eggs

    Cream Cheese Frosting Ingredients

    • ½ brick 4 oz, cream cheese, softened
    • ¼ cup butter softened
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • 2 cups powdered sugar
    • 1-3 Tablespoons half and half or milk

    Directions for how to make Pumpkin Dessert Bread

    First, you are going to preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease and flour a loaf pan, then set that aside for now.

    Next, in a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger.

    Mix these ingredients together well and set this aside.

    Now, in a larger mixing bowl, add pumpkin puree, sugar, oil, water and eggs and mix well.

    Add flour mixture and mix just until combined.

    Then spread the pumpkin bread batter into your prepared loaf pan and bake it for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

    Make sure to let your pumpkin bread stand to cool completely before you begin to frost it!

    Here are the Cream Cheese Frosting Directions:

    Beat together cream cheese, butter, vanilla and powdered sugar. Add half and half or milk if necessary to thin the icing a bit to spread easier.

    Spread the frosting evenly on top of your cooled pumpkin bread and slice it to serve.
